Loi Krathong - festival of lights

We stumbled upon the real life "Tangled" - the festival of lights in Bangkok. Or, Loi Krathong as it is known here. We were at Asiatique and wondered what the other million people (and locals nonetheless) were doing there.  Apparently, it is a super popular holiday and everyone comes to the waterfront to release floating offerings in the river and release lanterns. We did both and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  It was magical! (Minus the 90 minute walk home because all forms of transportation were grid-locked due to the million people there, but honestly, that was part of the fun too!)
