I am 8 months old!

8 months has been a big transition. I am basically crawling - sometimes sideways and sometimes on my feet, but getting around steadily. I am a wiggly worm!  I am also pulling myself up on things - on my knees and sometimes onto my feet.  I have a feeling I will be walking around furniture soon.  I have bruises all over because of my new found mobility.  I am also eating some foods that are not mush - exciting stuff!  The sounds of Da-da, Ma-ma and A-wa (Ava?) have been coming out lately.  Also, clapping and saying "aaaaaaaay!" The coolest thing is that I can do the sign for "more" when I am eating something.  And, I know a lot of Spanish words from Mabel - I even understand when she asks for a kiss in Spanish - I kiss her!

Nanny and Papa came to stay with us in Sonoma over the summer and we had a relaxing weekend having nice meals, a picnic at Gundlach Bunchu winery and fun in the pool.  More pictures to follow from Papa!

Fourth of July in Sonoma

We had a wonderful small town 4th of July in Sonoma.  It is like a movie - exactly what you would think would happen in a cute, American small town. We went to the 2-hour town parade, which was so cute, and had a fun BBQ at the house with Wendy, Tony and all the kids.  We ended the night with fireworks and the Girl and the Fig.  Pretty nice day!
